MCP support is now live in Zero
Your CRM and AI tools finally speak the same language.
What's new:
Zero now supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in both directions.
This means your AI tools can read and write data in Zero, and Zero can connect to the rest of your stack through the same protocol.
MCP is an open standard that allows AI systems and tools to work together. With this support, Zero becomes a central layer in your workflow.
1. Zero as an MCP server
Connect Zero to tools like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT, or any MCP compatible client.
Your AI can now read and write CRM data directly.
This unlocks workflows like:
- Ask your AI what is happening in an account and get a full summary based on deals, activities, and notes
- Query your pipeline to identify stalled deals or gaps
- Log calls, update deal stages, and write notes directly from your AI
- Pull historical data across accounts and generate summaries instantly
2. MCP tools inside Zero
You can now plug external MCP tools into Zero and let your CRM interact with them in real time.
Examples of what this enables:
Linear
A customer requests a feature. Zero searches for existing issues, creates one if needed, and links it back to the deal
Stripe
Zero reads invoice history, failed payments, and subscription status directly on the company record
PostHog
Product usage is pulled into Zero, helping you spot adoption gaps and churn signals
Circleback
Meeting transcripts and action items are synced into the deal timeline automatically
Notion and Google Drive
Zero finds onboarding docs and account plans without anyone needing to search for them
Your own MCP servers
Because MCP is open, you can also connect tools you build yourself. Wrap your internal APIs, data warehouse, or custom agents as MCP servers and Zero will treat them like any other connector.
